These terms cover your use of SecureLetter (https://secureletter.info), operated by Leadrogen LLC — the articles, the security checklist, and the newsletter. By using the site or subscribing, you agree to them.

The service

SecureLetter publishes practical security guidance for founders and owners of 5-200 person companies, plus a weekly newsletter. Every article on the site has been reviewed and approved by an editor before publication — nothing goes live automatically. Paid plans are not available yet; if that changes, these terms will be updated with the details before launch.

Not legal or compliance advice

Content on this site is general security guidance, not legal, compliance, insurance, or professional advice for your specific situation. Where a decision has real legal or financial weight — a breach, a regulatory obligation, a contract — talk to a qualified professional.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you register.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
Login attempts are rate-limited; automated or abusive access attempts may be blocked.
You can ask us to close your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the site to break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
Attempt to bypass access controls, scrape at abusive volume, or interfere with the service's normal operation.
Reuse published articles wholesale as your own without attribution.
Use an account role (editor/admin) beyond what it was granted for.

Subscribing uses double opt-in — you'll get one confirmation email before anything else is sent. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link that works instantly and permanently, no login required.

Content and intellectual property

Articles, the checklist, and site design are SecureLetter's work unless a source is credited otherwise. You're welcome to link to and quote from the site with attribution; republishing full articles requires our permission — email contact@secureletter.info.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is.” We work to keep guidance accurate and current, but security recommendations date quickly — verify anything safety-critical against a primary source (we link to the ones we used) before acting on it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SecureLetter is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and that is where any dispute not otherwise resolved informally would be brought.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes — most notably when paid plans launch. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
